Essential Oil and Herbal Support for Coronavirus, or any virus

Based on the CDC’s lists of fever, cough and shortness of breath as main symptoms of Coronavirus, here are the essential oils and herbs to support yourself and your family.
Remember, go to see your doctor in the first place and don’t try to self prescribe. All the essential oils and hers recommended here are for support only, not to replace medical professionals.
Take care and stay calm!
Essential oils: cold compress can be used with oils rich in Esters, such as Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Cardamom & Bergamot. A few drops of one oil or a mixture in a bowl of cool water.
Herbs: 1 part of Elder flowers, 1/2 part of Yarrow, peppermint and lemon balm each. Infuse 1 ounce per 2 cups of boiling water for 30 minutes, strain and drink 1/2 every 2-3 hours.
Calming Essential oils such as Lavender, Roman Chamomile can be inhaled to calm the cough.
Herbs: 1 part of Mullein leaves, 1/2 part of Licorice and Marshmallow each. Infuse 1 ounce per 2 cups of boiling water for 30 minutes, strain and drink 1/2 every 2-3 hours.
Shortness of breath
This is due to the phlegm congestion in the lung. The main goal is to get it out.
Essential oil: Tea tree, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Niaouli, Thyme, Oregano, Bay Laurel, Green Myrtle, Rosemary are all anti bacterial and have highly effective mucolytic and expectorant properties. Do not use the above oils for children younger than 7 and/or with any medical conditions.
Use one or a combination of a few.
Steam inhalation: 2-3 drops in a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel and inhale deeply for a few minutes. Be care not to burn your face with hot steam!
Inhaler: Aromatherapy inhaler is a great way to take with you in public places. Use it as often as you want.
Chest rub: mix 2-3 drops with a teaspoon of carrier oil, such as olive oil, sweet almond oil.
Herbs: Mullein leave, Licorice, Hyssop, Horehound, Elecampagne are all great expectorant.
Immune Support
Echinacea and Elderberry syrup can be used to enhance immunity.
